What gets collected

The contact form. If you write to me, I receive your name, your email address and your message. It arrives in my inbox as an email, sent through Resend, an email delivery service, and a copy is kept in a private database on Vercel so I can find it again. I keep it for as long as the conversation is useful and I use it only to reply to you. No newsletter, no list, no follow-up sequence. Yes, I see the irony.

Thumbs up and down. Takeaways and playbooks end with two buttons. A click stores the vote, the page it was on, a random id kept in your browser, and a scrambled version of your connection details so the same person is not counted twice. No name, no email, and nothing that can be turned back into you.

Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to see which pages get read and roughly where visitors come from. It sets cookies to do this, and shares anonymized usage data with Google. IP addresses are anonymized before they are stored. I do not use this to identify you personally, and I do not cross-reference it with anything you send through the contact form. Data is kept for 14 months, then Google auto-deletes it. Google's own privacy policy covers how they handle it.

Server logs. The site is hosted by a third-party provider, which keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for a short period so the site can run and so problems can be traced. I do not look at these unless something breaks.

That is the whole list.

What does not happen

• No tracking pixels, no ads, no retargeting.
• No selling or renting of anything you send me.
• No cross-site tracking. Analytics here stays on this site, it does not follow you elsewhere.

If I ever add anything beyond this, this page gets updated before the script does.

Links to other places

The site links out to LinkedIn and to tools I mention. Once you leave, their privacy rules apply, not mine. Some tool links are affiliate links and say so where they appear. Clicking one tells that company I sent you. It tells them nothing else about you.

Removing what you sent

Want a message you sent deleted? Ask, through the form or on LinkedIn, and it is gone.

Want your analytics data cleared? Google Analytics does not let me look up or delete an individual visitor's data on request. If that matters to you, a browser tracker-blocker or Google's own opt-out will stop it being collected in the first place.

Changes

If any of this changes, the date at the top changes with it. The short version at the top stays true or the page gets rewritten.
