I work in business development. Most days I'm closing deals. Other days I'm chasing a client who developed sudden amnesia the moment the invoice landed. I love sharing what I know, and I love it more when I learn something back. A room of first-year students or a founder twice my age gets the same effort from me. What actually gets me going is pushing someone past the thing they've already decided they can't do. Guest Lectures are just where that shows up most often. The real goal in that room is never the pitch. It's one person making a decision they've been putting off, because someone finally told them they could.
What actually gets my attention is hunger: someone who wants to grow, who will teach what they know and still ask questions like they know nothing. Doesn't matter if that person is nineteen or forty nine. I have learned more from the right junior with real hunger than from people with twice the experience.
Off the clock I am building AI agents, mostly because I like taking something apart to see how it thinks. I also lose more games than I would like to admit. But the thing I actually chase is conversations. Ask me what drives someone and I will listen longer than is strictly polite. Everyone is running on some private engine. I just like finding out what it is.
This site is where the frameworks live so I stop rewriting them in DMs. Real numbers where I have them. The rest of me shows up here in smaller doses, not because it is hidden, just because some of it is better said over a call than typed on a page.
What I do
The three words on the loading screen, explained.
Outreach
Finding the 40 accounts that matter in a list of 600, then getting a reply from a person who has never heard of you.
Deals
The bit after the reply. Discovery, the proposal, the follow-up, the close. Slower than outreach and worth more.
Teaching
Guest sessions for students and training inside teams. Same frameworks, different room, the same one decision at the end.
Tools I use
The whole stack. It is shorter than you think.
- Sales NavigatorThe list. Title, seniority, keywords, and whether they have posted in the last 30 or 90 days, because if they are not active there they will not see me there.
- lemlistEnrichment, verified emails, and every sequence on this site. Built and sent in lemlist. If you want to run it, here is the link to the tool.
- LinkedIn, email, WhatsAppThe three channels, in that order. WhatsApp only when the number is public.
Things I keep saying
If you have sat through a session, you have heard at least two of these.
- Marks get you shortlisted. Skills get you paid.
- Treat them like a lead, you'll get ignored. Treat them like a human, you'll get results.
- AI supports. You connect.
- Right person, wrong channel, missed opportunity.
- Done is better than perfect.
